Founded in 1909, this Oakland Historical Landmark has long been considered one of the most beautiful historic buildings in all of California. Julia Morgan’s design, dedicated in 1928 and influenced by her years of study in Paris, brings the building to life with soaring vaulted ceilings, intricate mosaics, stained glass and sunlit hallways. Later designs by noted architect Aaron Green add to its character. Along the way, you’ll discover quiet garden courtyards, intimate chapels and the stories of notable figures remembered here.
Spots for this free tour are limited, so be sure to reserve yours soon. Fill out the form on this page or call 415-853-2484ย and we’ll see you on October 11. Most of the building is wheelchair accessible by elevator.
We’re here for you during this difficult time.
