Winn's ways, his warmth and friendship will not be forgotten. I have many memories of this neighbor who graced our home on several occasions over the years. Remembering his humorous comments on politics to lighting up the street at Christmas with many lights wound around his antique car out front - a special display of the many facets of his personality. He is missed.
I was with Win when he bought his first car, A 1949 Olds 98. His nickname became 98 Art with his car buddies. We formed the Knights Auto Club in May of '54 in his parents rumpus room. Win was a life long friend gone too soon.
Win will always be part of my heart for the rest of my life. He was a grandfather to me, and never had a negative aspect in his life. He will always be family and I will miss his kindness, his generosity, and his smile.
I’ll never forget all the great times and the great friendship. You were always there for me and my family. You are our adopted family and best friend. I’ll miss you my friend but I’ll never forget you.
We will forever remember our neighbor and great friend Win. More family than friend, we enjoyed holidays, birthdays, and many other occasions together. Our favorite things were just having dinners together, playing rummicube, discussing politics and watching presidential debates. We will never forget this special man. XO
