I knew Walter as “Columbo”, but earned his respect enough to be able to refer to him as my friend Walter. My condolences to Pam, Derek and Chamu. Although many years have passed. I always fondly thinks of the Hicks family in high regard. I would of liked Walter to know that as of today I have 24+ years clean and sober and thank him for guiding me in that direction…..Your friend always Joe.
