Steve was one of the founding members of the employee music club at LBNL in 1995. He was our first music director at practice sessions in the cafeteria. All skill levels were welcome in that club, and Steve was very happy and patient with us all. He was respected and loved by everyone. I hope to play music with him again with the angels.
I’ve just heard of Steve’s passing. I played softball with him for the lab and had such a great time getting to know him. Sad to hear that he has passed.
