Simon Shelston's Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of Simon Robert Shelston announce his passing on Sunday, July 19th, 2020 at the age of 42. Simon will be lovingly and forever remembered by his best friend and wife Simi, his precious daughter Brooke, his parents Denis and Diane, his brothers Benoît (Justine) and Patrick (Denisse), nieces Chloe, Frances and Penelope and nephew Liam, and grandparents Jean and Gladys.
A native of Canada, Simon was born on June 22nd, 1978 in Montréal, Québec and spent his adolescent years in Toronto, honing his software technology skills with his brothers and numerous friends. In 1998 he moved to San Francisco to join history in the making in the dot-com era, having tremendous impacts and friendships along the way at places like Intershop, Outcome, Oracle/BEA and Splunk.
A die-hard sports and Tragically Hip fan, Simon also had a passion for the finer things in life and was always a generous soul, never one to miss a celebration, the chance to host a feast, or spend time with friends and family by the river, in Monte Rio
