Dude, I would not have used this story to try to besltor your case. Lynching is a term that many blacks in the south used to describe the mentality of murderous people in mobs. When it was such a grave injustice as the case she described, the actual 'act' of lynching is a hair split. The intent was to leave people with the same effect of the technical term lynching would imply. As far to another point about the Democratic Party, I fully agree with. It is why the irony in the blacks committment to being underserved by the Democratic Party when there is no more certain block of voters for the Dems to count on. It is mystifying. I actually think that were blacks more educated about what their representatives were doing while in office, that they would make an informed choice. But the social polices that are meant to 'help' are nothing more than crippling crutches and I have to wonder if there is any good intentions behind them.
