My heartfelt sincere condolences go out too the family of Mister Robert Hunter. He will be greatly missed by his Allen Temple Arms Church family and residents where he lives. He was well loved for his kindness and ability to always lend a hand and an attentive ear. We will miss doing things with our friend, and going places together. His Church family had a hard time wrapping there head around his untimely death, and they have fond memories of him...and all the help he provided in accommodating them to their car, or lending a hand to carry items. We will always miss him and hold kind thoughts of him. Continue your rest in Paradise. You will always love in in our heart. Much ❤️🙏🤗🙌 to his daughter..grands... family and all his live ones. The best decision of my life was when I was born again, and since then, I’ve loved sharing everything about Him — and giving my father an earful along the way. A funny thing he would say was:

"Dang, Lis, God is with you. How did you learn all of that? You know Him. I’m proud of you."

Those words showed me he could feel the presence of God in his own daughter, which was a powerful moment for both of us. From there, we shared many conversations about politics, his grandchildren, and the art world. His favorite place to meet was Lake Merritt, where we’d grab lunch or smoothies and dream about traveling one day. I always wanted him to see a world beyond Oakland.

The merciful Lord blessed my father with 82 years on this earth. He lived a full life, and I am grateful to have shared the end of it with him.

I will never forget when you took Lisa and I to the Golden State bridge to walk when we were kids. I was so scared but you told me it will build character and be afraid. I also remember when I let you borrow one of gospel cds and never gave it back because you loved it so much.. Lol. Memories I will never forget
