Mark And Maria Triska
Ralph was a great man of God. When I was around Ralph, he always had a smile and was encouraging. We always compared notes after the Cal or Stanford football games, and we always enjoyed our friendly rivalry over the years. My memories of Ralph are many; a man who enjoyed skiing with his friends into his seventies (and maybe 80’s?); he led the flag raising and Pledge of Allegiance at Family Camp; Ralph always loved to teach the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ according the the accuracy of God’s word; and he would often lead the holiday songs with Beverly and others playing their instruments, including Ralph playing the violin. My mother and Ralph actually attended high school in Oakland together and played violin together in the high school orchestra (Ralph told me he admired my mother as first chair). Ralph always opened our fellowships praying for “a sound body and mind” which he certainly had until the end. We were fortunate to visit Ralph and Joanne over the last holidays and will miss his presence going forward, but also we are comforted knowing his next waking moment will be in the presence of our Lord.
