James Mccarthy
Michael was a fellow Humboldt State student and Mai Kai resident. As I recall he was friends with Kevin Boston and maybe Jim Grimes who grew up near him. I just found Michael on Facebook in June and reached out to him. Not surprisingly he responded and I could tell he is still that Sagehorn that you would probably like for a neighbor. He mentioned his wife he meet many years ago at Quantico and his son and rambunctious grandchildren. I suspect there are a surprising number of people who once in a while think of their youth and smile to remember a long lost friend named Michael Sagehorn and wonder if he had a nice life. I am glad to know he did. And memories of Michael will always bring a little smile to my face and a tear to my eye. God Bless you Michael Sagehorn and all your family.
