Marsha Joyce Palmer's Obituary
Marsha Joyce Palmer, 70, a thirty year resident of El Cerrito, California passed away peacefully with family at her side on January 13, 2017.
Marsha was born on April 28, 1946, in Chicago, Illinois to Gladys Marion Cartwright Palmer and Romie Jay Palmer. Marsha was the oldest of four siblings. Her brother Bruce preceded her in death along with her parents. Marsha was greatly loved and admired by her siblings, Lyle (Karen) and Linnea (Robert O’Neill) and their children: Andrew Cartwright Palmer, Kent Palmer O’Neill and Katherine Clark O’Neill. She will also be missed by her cat, Pinky and all the stray cats in the neighborhood.
Marsha greatly enjoyed college and professional football, horse racing, exploring the beautiful state of California and politics. For most of her career she was a legal secretary. She was a kind heart and overly generous to all who needed help. She had many friends in the community who will also miss her wit, smile and humor.
