To my grandmother Lola thank you for always being there for me thank you for being at my Christmas pageant's when I was a little girl I always knew that you were out there in that audience with hundreds of people watching me out there on that floor I was so nervous but I knew that you were out there making sure that what we practice that I would get it right I want to say thank you for my first pair of black patent-leather shoes you took me downtown to get my first pair when I was a little girl I think those was the most expensive shoes that I had when I was a little girl and thank you for all the time we spent together talking while I was doing your hair we talked about so many things but one thing you taught me is to be good at whatever I do and thanks to you I'm doing what you taught me I love you Lola I'll be seeing you one day again and I would never forget the things you taught me God bless you I love you from your granddaughter Lola
