To my friend Jose, I met you a few years ago and we talked through video calls with your son Josue, though I haven’t known you for long I was able to see you were a great man and raised your children well. The time I’ve had working with Josue and seeing how kind he is showed how great of a job you did with your children. Your kids will always carry your name and legacy. God bless your soul and Rest in Peace.
Dad, you taught me the meaning of hard work, of giving without expecting anything back, and of always making room for others. I’ll never forget our car packed full of people heading to church, because you always wanted to help someone. Growing up, you showed me kindness, dedication, and faith. Now, with my family my son, Adrian Mendez, who is 14, and my wife, Esperanza Mendez, with whom I’ve been married for 15 years you’ve guided me every step. Adrian will always remember what you taught him, just as I do. As Proverbs 22:6 says, “Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.”

My uncle was one of the best role models in my life he was the shine to everyone’s day his energy can just fill up a whole room such a amazing kind man ever and will always be proud to call him my uncle I just hope yk how much ima miss you and how much everyone is gonna miss you being here with us.All those fun experiences you gave me and my cousins we will never ever forget I will always remember the early mornings I would wake up just to go to church with you and my cousin with you gone the world feels empty but now I know your getting the rest you deserve you always wanted me to do the right things I will miss everything about you every day All your hugs all the love and care you gave to me will be forever with me I will forever love you Tio❤️❤️
Chepe was a wonderful father, grandfather, husband, father-in-law, son, and friend. Even all of those words together cannot fully describe how much he meant to us or how deeply he will be missed.
I still remember the day he held his grandson, Adrian, for the very first time. He smiled and told me that Adrian looked just like Josue did when he was a baby. It is a memory I will always cherish.
One of the last things he told me was that I was his son’s rock and that I needed to continue being that through life’s hard times. Today, I can honestly say that this is one of the hardest times of my life, but I know I must continue to be strong, just as he encouraged me to be.
My father-in-law was kind, caring, and loving. He always gave to those in need without expecting anything in return. His generosity, compassion, and selflessness touched so many lives. That is the legacy I hope to continue—to help others, to give freely, and to lead with kindness, just as he did.
Thank you, Chepe, for your love, your wisdom, and the example you set for all of us. You will forever remain in our hearts, and your memory will live on through the people whose lives you touched.

No matter how much time passed or how many miles separated us, I always knew that if I needed him, he would be there. From the time I was a little girl, he loved me, protected me, guided me, and cared for me as his own niña. He was the father I needed, and his love never wavered.
He continually encouraged me in my faith and service to God and others. The lessons he taught me, the example he set, and the faith he lived will continue to guide me throughout my life.
My heart is broken knowing I can no longer call him, hear his voice, or hold his hand. Yet I find comfort in knowing that the love he gave me will remain with me forever. I hope he knew how deeply he was loved and how proud I was to call him my Papi.
Though he is no longer by my side, he will always be in his Chelita’s heart. ❤️
