Dear Bobby, I am so sorry to hear that John is gone from this life. It was always very reassuring to know that there was such a fine doctor(along with a wonderful nurse!) living right across the street. He was also a great neighbor. I’ll never forget how you and John opened your home to my mother when her new apartment wasn’t yet available. And one time John let me tag along with the two of you to a private party in honor of a soccer team from Yugoslavia. This was quite an adventure for me as I was an extremely late bloomer. When I went out on the balcony, one of the soccer stars grabbed me! I wasn’t offended – rather I was flattered that I was noticed. But, of course, I quickly moved back inside, glad that I would be safe leaving the party with a tall, older man. Thanks also to you for all the wonderful baby gifts you gave to my sons who share your birthday and for taking my mother and me to fun places(like Potpourri on Redwood Road) Fondly Remembering You Always, Ann
