Georgia was one of the most beautiful souls I've ever met. She was always so willing to give of herself and time, and share so many valuable jewels with many. I still remember the day when I first met Georgia. She was holding an open house and I was newly licensed. My mentor insisted that I go to Georgia's open house and meet her. I was new to the business and very shy, so I just watched her for a few seconds before I worked up the nerves to finally introduced myself. From that day on, she has been one of the most influential women in my life during my real estate career. I even eventually worked with her at Richardson Real Estate Services during which time she was also president of OAR, and I was privileged to attend her inauguration. Even with the responsibilities of being the president, she continued to mentor me during my career at Richardson Real Estate Services. I learned so much from Georgia. To this day her words to "always have integrity" still rings in my ears and I apply it in all aspects of my life and not just real estate. In 2017, she and I both were getting back into real estate sales, and we would sit at Peet's coffee to discuss a new online RE agency which was VERY new to us considering we both were old school:):) We tried to navigate this new online RE agency, but at the end of the day we both decided that in-person relationships within physical RE agencies fit us better, thus we decided to return to traditional agencies. I just returned to the industry (again:) in June of this year, and I was about to call Georgia to share the news with her that I was back...again. Sadly, I will never be able to make that call.
Georgia has influenced me in ways that I will never forget. Her kindness, love she showed for all, and her willingness to take a chance and teach me the ropes will never be forgotten. She was a mentor and a friend. The world has loss a beautiful angel but an angel that will never be forgotten...
Love you, Georgia...
