Tabatha Thomas
I woke up thinking of Mike and Eleanor today and just discovered that she has recently passed. She was my landlady and friend for many of the happiest years of my life when my daughter was first born. We lived in the cottage out back. She allowed us to have her first birthday party with family and friends on the backyard of our little cottage. The invitation was a crossword that Mike completed! She and Mike were good to us and my daughter used to play on the family rocking horse. We built her a little loft in the porch room with Mike’s help. My daughter used to hang out with Mike on his porch while he did the crossword, and he would lift the mailbox door and have Nadya call for Eleanor. She’d often invite us to have dinner together. Even after we moved out, we’d come by for a visit and go down the street to the neighbor’s haunted house at Halloween. God bless her soul! And God bless Mike too. We are sorry for the family’s loss.
In sympathy,
Tabatha and Nadya
