AN INESCAPABLE EMEMYI just read about the loss of your loved one. I hope these few words will bring you some comfort. Death has been called man's enemy. It is a real enemy, and the evidence is all around us.The death of strangers may go unnoticed, it is natural. But when it comes to the death of a loved oneā¦not so. King Solomon wrote that God "has planted eternity in men's hearts." (Ecclesiastes 3:11) We want this for ourselves as well as our loved ones.God's Word, the Bible, promises us that, plus more. IT GIVES US HOPE! How? Because God has a limitless memory, he promises to bring ALL the dead who are in his memory back to life here on earth. (John 5:28 & 29;Psalm 37:29) He also guarantees us with these words: "The true God is for us a God of saving acts; and to HIM belong the ways out from death." (Psalm 68:20) GOD DOES NOT LIE! (ISAIAH 55:11; Titus 1:2)
