Deborah Louise Hudson-Williams' Obituary
Deborah L. Hudson-Williams was born on September 15, 1952 in Oakland, California and passed away peacefully on November 18, 2016 in San Leandro, California. She was preceded in death by her husband Edwin Williams. She is survived by 11 siblings. Four Brothers, Anthony Hudson, Girver T. Hudson, Jr., Michael Hudson, and Mark Hudson; Seven Sisters, Brenda Brooks, Francine Wesley, Cheryl Moore, Patricia Henry, Mada Hudson, Karen Cox, and Beverly Johnson.
Deborah belonged to the following organizations in the last 30 years: The Oakland East Bay Democratic Club, the East Bay Area Club (NANBPWC), the A. Philip Randolph Civil Rights Organization, and the NAACP. She was in the United Automotive Local No. 2244 and also served on the committee for congresswoman, Barbara Lee. She was a proud delegate to the Democrat National and State Conventions from 1976 to the present. Deborah served as chairperson for the Political Action Committee for nine bay area counties for the UAW Local No. 2244.
Repast will be held at the Lakeside Garden Center, 666 Bellevue Avenue, Oakland, CA 94610 at Lake Merritt.
