My campaign sister. My memories are vivid, we would work on some so called grassroots campaigns in rural areas in the US and would look at each other and say, WHAT kind of organizing is going on, This is Not how we would do outreach. We would get Instructions NOT to criticize these areas style of organizing, But we could not help it. One campaign was the worst. THE maps were from Canada. The campaign we were working on had to acknowledge to their volunteers that these out of towners knew How to Organize. I made Deborah talk because she could breakdown things in a way that is in depth.Another memory was she helped introduce the Cuba Issue Policy to the Unions, I invited her to be part of these groups way way back when it was not so friendly to Cuba. I thank her family for all the service you all have given to the Community.Tina F
