Though it was a passing of a very dear Uncle, John 5:28,29 helps us to appreciate that Uncle Daley is asleep right now awaiting the resurrection promise of Jesus for all in the Memorial tombs. Daley Byrd was a friend of mine since1989. We met at FH Dailey Motor Co and became instant friends because of his friendly manner and his sense of humor. It was a few years later that I learned of his Military background and with that, hours and hours ofconversation about military history resulted. I looked at him as a hero, just as anyone who battled for our freedom in WWII. I was amazed by his knowledge. I truly enjoyedhis friendship, I hope he enjoyed mine. It makes me sad to lose that friendship. I will always remember him. Especially as a hero. RIPArnie Gaidos
