He loved people and had lots of friends. He had a huge heart of kindness, and was always willing to lend a helping hand regardless of an individual’s ethnicity, social or economic status. He especially delighted in helping elderly or disabled persons.
He enjoyed good food and always found time for eating. He never missed any meals. After traveling to his birthplace for a family gathering, he fell in love with the town’s famous Conecuh sausages, and began having them shipped regularly to him in California.
He was a great son, a caring brother, a dedicated nephew, a loving uncle, faithful cousin and loyal friend. He will be missed.
