Bessie Mae Adams' Obituary
Bessie Mae Adams was born in Bryan, Texas on March 06, 1946 to Mr. Ben Adams Sr. and Mrs. Clarissa Clemons-Adams. She was the youngest of 12 children which included two sets of twins. Bessie accepted GOD at a young age. She graduated from Kashmere Garden High School in Houston Texas. Bessie moved to San Francisco, California in 1966, where she helped at her brother’s ice cream parlor. She then received training as a Home Healthcare Aide and worked in that field for many years. After other jobs within the San Francisco Bay Area she began working for Beresford Hotel as a housekeeper, and retired after several years. She loved her Bay Area sports teams, especially the San Francisco Giants. Another passion of Bessie’s was reading, crossword puzzles, classic western movies/shows and spending time with her grandchildren.
Bessie leaves to mourn 2 children; Son, Andre Adams and Daughter, O’Shanda Pablo, 3 Grandsons; ShereKhan Adams, Seven Pangilinan-Adams and Davi Sol Martinez; 5 Sisters, Ruby Shaw, Katie Delaney (Robert), Geraldine Mills, Adell Adams and Bernice Ray; 4 Brothers, Ben Adams Jr (Arthur), Bernard Adams (Linda), Willie Adams (Arnether) and her twin Jessie Ray Adams (Rita). She also leaves to mourn and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and friends, who will miss her greatly.
Bessie was preceded in death by her mother and father, a brother Ennis Hollis, sister Minnie Bessie Wilson.
