Love and peace to Bessie's family: You don't know me, I'm one of the group who walk together on Tuesdays at Westlake Christian Terrace. On her last day to walk with us she was my "partner." Of course we talk as we walk along and I got to hear about how much he loves you, her family. What a lovely, caring woman. Her sudden death was a blessing to her, but very hard on all she left behind. I pray that you will find comfort in your grief knowing that you suffer now because she didn't have to (through a long period of illness). She was walking with new friends and talking about the important things of life–family and politics (we were in agreement about the coming election). From the first time I met Bessie, the first thing you notice and will always remember is her big smile. With that smile was a very kind and beautiful friend. You see even though she was with my Dad and the Mother of my little Sister, I thought of her as my friend. I was headed to the SF Giants game when O'Shanda called and was already on the Bay Bridge. It was as if she was saying "go for me". And I did. While the game was going I my thoughts was on her and I looked towards the bleachers and just knew that is where she would be – cheering on her team!! The selfish part of me LOVE AND MISS HER but the Christian side of me know that GOD LOVED HER MORE and I know she's at peace. Linda Willis
