My sister and I would go to Juano’s every time she flew to Fargo for a visit from California. We would always get the "Annele Special" and a glass of sangria. The best ever! Annele would always visit our table when she was there. Such a sweet lady. My sympathy to the family.

I knew Annele as the mother of my best friend. She was always so kind to me and never spent much time on small talk, but rather, cut straight to the deep questions to really know how I was doing and what I was up to. She genuinely wanted to know and through her questions, I felt a true connection and that she really cared about each conversation we had. I wanted to tell her about my life each time, and when I told her I was happy, I could tell she was happy for me. I see her best qualities shining through in my friend John - genuine interest in truly getting to know people, warm receptions, fantastic 'hosting' and a beautiful smile.

My heart goes out to John, Elise, Hatti and Elio who I love so dearly.

Even as long distant cousins Annele was a close family member. Being close in age to my sisters and brothers we shared so many great memories. Her mom, Elaine, and my dad, Jervis were 2 of 14 siblings so the cousin count was crazy. My family’s visits to Fargo & Detroit Lakes made for special memories and Annele and family was always in the mix.
Her visits and extended stays to Indiana were some of my favorite memories of sweet Annele.
She enriched every life she touched and will be dearly missed.
