Anna (Ann) D. Thompson

Ann Delores Thompson was born and raised in San Francisco, California. She was a devout Catholic and a member of Sacred Heart Parish in Oakland. Ann moved to Oakland and retired from the Oakland Naval Supply in 1990 after forty-three years of service. Ann was involved with various organizations that helped others. She worked with Sacred Heart, Market Street Corners, St. Vincent de Paul, American Legion and was a member of the Hi Toppers Club. Ann is survived by her loving daughter, Viola Thompson Alexander, son-in-law, Gregory Alexander, beloved grandson, Gregory Stephan Alexander, and great grandchildren, Kassius, Deneko and Javeah Alexander., sisters Louise Montgomery (Robert), Helen Armstrong, (Lonnie) and a host of nieces, nephews and loving friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend both the viewing and funeral services.
The viewing will be held at Chapel of the Chimes, 4499 Piedmont Ave. Friday, Nov. 28, 2014 from 4 PM to 8 PM. The Rosary will be held at 6:30 PM. Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 11AM, November 29, 2014, at Sacred Heart Parish, 4025 Martin Luther King Way. Oakland.
