Her spirit lives on in all of us whom she touched with her kindness, compassion, happiness, and the brightness of her smile ... So many cherished memories flash in my mind, so many moments to which I offer gratitude and thanks to her for making my life so much better ... From being a "Room Mother" in elementary school, to allowing me to visit, ok, barge my way at lunchtime to have hot noodles with David ... To the many times she showed extreme patience when she and Sue would come to pick up David at my house and we'd be chased by Sue, then barricade ourselves behind my bedroom door ... To taking me with Sue and David for my first swimming lessons ... To allowing a bunch of rowdy boys tear up her backyard while playing tackle football ... To allowing us to help her organize books at Montera Jr High during the summer ... To inviting my parents to join in a holiday celebration and treating them like one of their family ... so many happy memories ... I will truly miss her! ... (She never taught me how to waltz!) ...
Much love, Alan.
