Zetta Lynne (Pope) Poli's Obituary
Zetta Lynne (Pope) Poli was born Janurary 12, 1928 in Oakland, California at Fabiola Hospital which is now Kaiser Permanente. She passed away December 24, 2017. She was a member of Albany UMC; WOTM 566; Eagle AUX.354; Albany – El Cerrito Exchange. She was a former volunteer of the P.T.A; Girl Scouts; and Boy Scouts. Zetta also worked at Albany Unified School District for many years and was on the Election Board.
Zetta has written her own obituary and states the following: My mother, Frances C. Lozier was a Music and English teacher in the Bay Area. My first husband was Arnold Eugene Pope, a Challenge Milk Driver, who was killed in Oakland, California on February 27,1969. She married her second husband, Laurence D. Poli on July 6, 1981 who had four children: Nikkie, Larry, Kerry and Kevin. He passed away from lung cancer on August 2, 1988.
She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother to Richard Whittingham (deceased) , A. Reed Pope (Rhonda); Arnelle Lynne Burg (Carl), Daniel D. Pope (Deceased); Kevin M. Pope; Brian K. Pope (Heather); Laura A. Pope (Deceased); Martin R. Burg; Pierce K. Pope, and Britta A. Pope.
