Zenaida Viduya's Obituary
Her children arise and call her blessed." - Proverbs 31:28
With heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life beautifully lived, we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother on Friday, June 20th, 2025, in the comfort of her own home. At 96 years old, just months away from her 97th birthday, she departed this world surrounded by the love of her children and family—exactly as she would have wished.
In a testament to the enduring power of love, she passed just one day before what would have been her 73rd wedding anniversary, now reunited with her devoted husband, our beloved Dad Napoleon, who preceded her in death.
She found profound comfort and guidance through her unwavering faith. Prayer was the cornerstone of her life and her most powerful source of healing and strength not only for herself but for everyone she loved. Her prayers were a constant blessing over our family.
During the years when Dad served our country in the U.S. Navy aboard submarines, she demonstrated extraordinary strength and grace, single-handedly raising six children with unwavering devotion. Her resilience, wisdom, and boundless love created a foundation of security and warmth that sustained our family through every season of life.
She found joy in life's simple pleasures, particularly in her cherished garden of roses and orchids, which she lovingly tended. Her garden was a reflection of her nurturing spirit which touched everyone who knew her. She dedicated herself wholeheartedly to her family, always wanting nothing but the best for each of us.
She is survived by five children, five grandchildren, and a great granddaughter, each of whom carries forward her legacy of love, kindness, and faith.
While our hearts are heavy with grief, we celebrate a life fully lived, a love that will never fade, and a promise to honor her final wish by caring for one another just as she cared for us.
