Yoshio Yamato's Obituary
Yoshio Yamato YOSHIO YAMATO Passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2004, in Oakland, at age 89. He was a longtime member of the East Bay Gardeners’ Association, the Fukuoka Nikkei Jin Kai and the Buddhist Church of Oakland. Survived by his caring wife, Yoshie, sons Warren and Alexander, daughter Charlene, daughter-in-law Jane, and grandchildren Jennifer, Kimberly and Mari. A memorial service will be held at the Chapel of the Chimes, 4499 Piedmont Avenue, Oakland, on Saturday, June 26, at 10:00 a.m.
