Yeu Ai On's Obituary
Mrs. Yen-Ai On, our beloved and well-respected mother, grandmother and great-grand mother, was born in Hai Phong, Vietnam on September 6, 1926. She married Mr. Doc-Suyn On, a marriage lasted over half a century. Mrs. Yen-Ai On worked with her father with their family bakery and tea business. Even with her many responsibilities, she always found time to nurture her children with love and patience.
Mrs. Yen Ai was a loving mother and was always there to support her family. When the family moved to Michigan in 1980, she completely devoted herself to her family as a housewife and dedicated mother. She and her husband loved each other; one yielded to the other from time to time when disagreement happened, disagreements that she viewed as making their marriage more colorful.
Mrs.Yen-Ai had tender affection for grandchildren and great-grandchildren, frequently babysitting and giving them candies, cookies, and allowance. She loved cooking for her family, something they enjoyed because she was such a great cook!
Mrs. Yen-Ai loved to play Mahjong with her friends and loved to watch Chinese Opera. She and her husband would often watch Chinese Opera and sing along. All of her children had fun watching them and even while in the hospital, she would ask them to sing Chinese opera for her.
Mrs. Yen-Ai took her last breath on August 10, 2014 at Oakland, California, USA. She passed away leaving her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren with many sweet memories.
