Woo Fee Gee's Obituary
Woo Fee Gee
October 26, 1922- October 29, 2025
Born on October 26, 1922, in China, Woo Fee entered the world alongside his twin sister. Sadly, their mother passed away during childbirth. At that time, China permitted only one child per family, so Woo Fee’s father was forced to give his daughter up for adoption. Unable to care for Woo Fee alone, his father brought him to the United States at the age of eight.
Woo Fee grew up in an orphanage, without any family nearby. Tom and Helen Gee took him in at a young age, providing him with a loving home, food, and shelter for over twenty years. Though he grew up with very little, Woo Fee became an exceptionally generous person.
Having experienced hardship, Woo Fee was always thinking of others. A devoted uncle and loyal friend, he consistently placed the needs of others before his own. His kindness brought comfort to those around him, and his warm smile could brighten anyone’s day.
He lived a simple life, finding joy in the little things and cherishing moments spent with friends and co-workers—who became his chosen family. Woo Fee loved to travel and explore the world. He once said, “I have done everything and traveled everywhere on my bucket list.” He was content with the long, full life he lived.
Woo Fee watched many of us grow from childhood to adulthood, teaching us the basics of life and how to persevere. He leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and treasured memories that will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Though Woo Fee is no longer with us, the impact he made on our lives will forever remain.
May he rest in peace.
We love you.
