Winston J.R. Yarborough, Sr.'s Obituary
Winston J.R. Yarborough, Sr., age 82 years of Walnut Creek, California, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on September 2, 2018. He was born in Grass Valley, California on March 28, 1932. Winston J.R. Yarborough, Sr. graduated from San Leandro High School and attended Diablo Valley College. He was married to Murial Jean Ysebaert on April 2, 1966.
Winston worked for Golden Grain Company, and was a member of the ILWU Local 6. He had a passion for bicycling, his family, fishing, and chess playing.
He is survived by his loving children: Winston Yarborough, Jr., Julia Yarborough, Tony Yarborough, and Renee Yarborough; loving grandfather of: Tia Campbell, Gregorio Yarborough, Loreal Williams, Najah Muhammad, Ashan Muhammad, Joshua Bertran, and Rico Yarborough. Loving brother of: Paul Yarborough and Beverly Yarborough.
His funeral service will be on Sunday, September 9th, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home, 4499 Piedmont Avenue, Oakland, CA 94611 in the Julia Morgan Chapel.
