Deacon Washington was such a wonderful man…a mighty and powerful warrior for God. His knowledge and scripture and soulful, stirring prayers always lifted my spirit and served as a tangible reminder of God's faithfulness. After hearing Deacon Washington prayer, I knew everything would be alright! I will miss his smile, his warmth, his humor, his sense of family and–most of all–his deep, abiding faith in God.
