My cousin Bill will always have a piece of my heart. Every time he came to visit my family it usually centered around a car he had found and bought. As a 10-12 year old he treated me like a little brother when he was around. I always looked up to him. His family will miss his easy smiles.
Bill was one of the best people my wife and I have ever known. I have known him all my life, he was my cousin, friend and fellow car enthusiast. All the travels he did with, his wife, Estella and Steven their son gave a perspective on the world that not too many people have. I enjoyed our conversations on Skype no matter where they were in the world. Linda and I finally visited them in Italy and Belgium a few years before they retired, they were such gracious hosts. What a wonderful time we had with them. They would come back to Michigan to visit Bill’s mother, my Aunt Dolly and we would always get together. I could go on about the times we went to car shows or took boat rides from Port Huron to the River Crab restaurant which is on the water in Michigan. Those are just some of the memories we have with him and his family. Linda and I are fortunate to have had Bill and his family in our life. With love to all the people Bill’s life touched. Sending my love to Bill's dear family here, and in Guam, and friends all over the world. As a friend and roommate of Shirley, his sister, I loved meeting him and the rest of the Vetarbo family. Over the years, it was a gift to meet Estella and Steven when we visited them in Italy and Belgium (such warm hospitality). His love of family and laughter were very special and I will fondly remember Bill always. Love to each of you as you remember a very special human being!
My Uncle Bill is a kind, smart, loving man. I especially love how he always made my Auntie Stel smile and light up. He brought out the best in people and always had such encouraging things to say. I could sit and listen to his stories, advice and wise words for hours. I’m going to miss hearing the storage rolling doors shutter as he opens them in the morning. That’s how I knew it was time to get up outta bed. 😄 I’m know it will be sad not to see him outside in Auntie Stel’s garden or roaming the neighborhood with his golf cart. 😭. But I also know that he left his loving mark 🫶 on our Guam family for we Love him tremendously and will miss him with all our hearts. ❤️❤️ Adios Esta’ki Uncle Bill! Till we meet again!

I am a good friend of Shirleys. i never had the opportunity to meet Bill, but after reading all of your memories and comments, I really wish I had that opportunity. He sounds like such a special man.
I know how much Shirley thought of him and how much she loved when he would come to visit or she would see him on a trip.
My love and condolences go out to all of you. You have suffered such a great loss.

Bill was my mentor who loved to teach life skills. He enjoyed doing work projects like home improvements and going to the hardware stores. He taught me a lot of common sense growing up as a kid. Everywhere we went he was very well liked by a lot of people. He was very generous always willing to treat. He loved the world traveling life especially living in different places like Japan, Okinawa, Europe Germany Italy, Panama Canal Zone. Bill was quite the car buff he enjoyed working on his old Alfa Romeo’s and going to car shows a lot.He will be dearly missed rest in peace my dear brother.
Dear Estella, Jonathon, Steven, Shirley and Steve. My deepest condolences of Bill’s passing. A well respected, smart and caring family man and good friend. Loved to laugh at good stories and able to laugh at himself. Always ready to sit with others and chat with a beer or two. I know he has touched many lives as a teacher. A life well lived.
