William "Bill" Bueerman's Obituary
William “Bill” Bueermann, born 1928, died July 18, 2017. Bill was always a resident of Oakland and Piedmont and graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in forestry in 1950. Bill then spent two years in the Army, stationed primarily in Korea working as a cryptographer. Bill spent his career in the building materials business working for US Plywood and Champion International, retiring in 1985. He loved the mountains and was an avid skier, fisherman, kayaker and back packer, sharing all these activities with his family. Bill is predeceased by two daughters, Jane Lundal and Wendy Bueermann and his wife of 59 years, Betty. He is survived by his granddaughter, Jennifer Lundal. At his request there will be no service. Any contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
