William (Bill) Albert Kendrick's Obituary
William (Bill) Albert Kendrick was born August 3, 1949 and passed away May 13, 2017. He was born to Joseph and Ann Kendrick in Baton Rouge, Louisiana where he lived until the family moved to Scarsdale, NY. He attended Tulane University where he pursued his passion of architecture before moving to the Bay Area to pursue an MBA from Golden Gate University. He met the love of his life, Vicki Higgins, in 1980 and they were married in 1984. He was an avid sailor and enjoyed taking his family to Steamboat Slough in the Sacramento Delta every summer and recently, living out his dream of cruising Mexico and the Sea of Cortez. He will be remembered for his love of good wine, sailing, his family, and his status as a Sacramento River Rat. He is survived by his loving wife, Vicki Kendrick, and their three children Margaret (Christopher) Guerriero, Victoria Kendrick and William Kendrick, his mother, Ann Kendrick and brother, James Kendrick. He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Kendrick. A service of memorial will be held on Friday, June 2, 2017, at 2 PM at Piedmont Community Church at 400 Highland Avenue, Piedmont, CA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be given in Bill’s name to the Piedmont Community Church Youth Mexico Mission Trip.
