Wayne L Burkamp's Obituary
Wayne L. Burkamp, born August 8, 1947 in Littleton, Colorado, passed away on May 18, 2026. He was the son of Rudolph Burkamp and Marge Klingbeil and the brother of Donna Lee Arendt and Marty Burkamp, all preceded him in death.
Wayne shared more than twenty years of love with his partner, Anna Cheung. He was a devoted stepfather to Nicole Koffler and a proud grandfather to Evan and Theo Cheng, attending every sports game and cheering them on with unmatched enthusiasm.
He graduated from Littleton High School, earned his degree from the University of Northern Colorado, served in the United States Army in Italy, and received his law degree from the University of Colorado Boulder. His legal career spanned more than thirty years in real estate law, including service as a judge and advisor to numerous companies in Colorado and California.
Wayne was known for his intelligence, humor, and memorable expressions. He loved the Denver Broncos, traveling with Anna, and volunteering with the Big Brother Program in California.
He is survived by Anna, Nicole, Evan, Theo, and his nephews David and Billy Burkamp.
A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor.
