Walter Williams' Obituary
Walter Williams was born October 4, 1920 the oldest child of Mary White and Sam Williams in Walterboro, South Carolina. He attended schools in Walterboro. He joined the United States Navy (1937- 1952), where he served as Chef for the Navy. While serving in the Navy in 1945, he met and married Jimmie Lee White; to this union 3 children were born. Walter settled in Oakland, CA after Military Service. He worked for the Navy Supply Center for 19 years then for the city of Oakland for 12 years. He leaves to cherish his memories 3 children, Willeeta Davis (Rodney), Walter K. Williams (Eleanor), and Brenda; all reside in Oakland. 3 Grandchildren, Sonya Davis, Jermaine Alexander, Walter K. Williams II and a Host of Relatives and friends.
