I would like to send love, light, prayers, and condolences to the Hunter family. May God continue to bless your house hold and grant your hearts peace during this time. I lost my father during the Fires of Nov 2018 so i too understand how eerie it can be to lose a loved one during a national crisis.. please make sure to hold one another close and to cherish his memory. To Mrs. Hunter I hope that God is able to give you peace during this storm and if nothing else you can find happiness in knowing that you and your husband shared many wonderful years together, raised beautiful children and loving grandchildren. Wadel Hunter was one of my favorite brother in laws. We talked about so many things from sports to every day to day life stuff and many things in between. He made me laugh soo much and he always had some interesting story ( some serious and some funny) that he shared. And he was quite knowledgeable and up on the latest news, politics and other haps. And no matter what was going on with him, he always greeted me with such pleasantries, and I can still hear his voice now in my mind as I think of him and our last conversation after midnight on early Wed morning 4/29 when I sport with him over the phone when he was in hospital. Muse handed him the phone and he said “Hey Sista” ... and so on.. in his upbeat same ol” voice as always and our brief conversation, a few laughs, he told me he loved me and I told him I loved him too and he asked me to pray for him and I said I would. Another laugh then he needed to go deal w/nurse. I will always remember him his laugh his kindness and some memories come up and I just find myself laughing OT myself out loud. It’s other things I could share but it’s hard right now and so I’m gonna end this with I love and will always love you Wadell and miss you and thank you for being a great brother in law and for giving my sister Janice( your wife) 3 awesome kids( my 2 nephews and a niece). Rest In Paradise “Waddie -Waddie”( my nickname I would always call you). And may God bring GREAT comfort and Peace To my sister Janice, my niece and nephews.
