Violet Lynch's Obituary
Violet Lynch was born on June 25, 1931 in Mt. Harris, Colorado to the proud parents of Charlie Lynch and Annie Mae Woods whom preceded her in death. She was the eldest of seven children and the twin to her only sister Viola Lynch- Harper. In 1941 the family moved to San Francisco, Ca. Years later she would meet and marry her late husband Emmit Hall and from this union two children were born.Later she would remarry and become the loving wife of her husband Robert Laster of Marsham, Texas, whom preceded her in death.To this union four children were born.
Violet having become a home owner at an early age, didn’t complete a formal education, but went on to surround herself with books of all subject matters allowing her to become a very articulate individual. Her interests including attending the S.F. Conservatory annual Flower events. Consequently she would go on to build and maintain a lovely garden of her own.Her love for cooking made for a delicious Soulfood, Italian, Mexican, Philipino, and many more dishes. She also loved all genres of music, ” Dreams” by Fleetwood Mac was one of her favorite. She would often attend the city’s Music and Multi Cultural Events
Violet will be lovingly missed by her family and friends, this includes her children, Clara Powell, son-in law Lilton Powell Jr.,Carolyn Laster , all of S.F. Ca, Romero Laster, daughter in-law Merrilen Laster of Berkeley, Lawrence Hall and daughter-in-law Michelle Hall, Patricia Hall of Sacramento, Ca, Her brother Jim Dennis, sister-in-law Olivia Dennis of Emeryville, Ca., Her brothers who preceded in death, twins Robbie and Roy Dennis, Neal Dennis, Jr. and Gary Dennis. Grandchildren, Fehcid Davis, Alishia Powell,Aaron Holmes,Reginald Blackwell, Sonya Laster, Robin Laster, Romero Laster, Aba Nolley, Jabari Hall, Johnathan Hall, Benjamin Hall, Great Grand children, Shaliyah Holmes, Tre’ Wise, Le Kaya Wise, Kayla Davis, Aba Nolley Jr., Great-great grandchildren, Te’a Wise and Chief Lewis.
