My sincere condolences to the family of Ms. Trexler: I wanted to share a scripture of hope for the family. At John 3:16 it says “For God loves the world so much that he gave his only-begotten son, so that everyone exercising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life.” Yes, God made hope for the dead possible by sending his son to die for us. So the resurrection tells us about God’s love and undeserved kindness for those who have fallen asleep in death. Also, the Bible promises a time when there will be no more sorrow, sickness or death.
