Victoria M. Bourgeois' Obituary
Afterglow
I’d like the memory of me
to be a happy one.
I’d like to leave an after glow
of smiles when life is done.
I’d like to leave an echo
whispering softly down the ways
of happy times and laughing times
and bright and sunny days.
I’d like the tears of those who grieve,
to dry before the sun
of happy memories
that I leave when life is done
Vicky often spoke of the good times she shared with her “Eskaton family.” Thank you all for your kindness and caring. She especially enjoyed playing cards with a group of friends in the evening – sharing stories, tall tales and laughter.
Memorial gifts can be made to the Charlotte Maxwell Clinic, 411 30th Street, Suite 508, Oakland, CA 94609 or the American Cancer Society.
