Victor Damone Brown's Obituary
Victor Damone Brown was born in Berkeley, CA on June 4, 1964 to his parents, James Jr. and Velma Brown. He attended and graduated from Castlemont High School, where he excelled in basketball and football. He attended Chabot Community College, then San Jose State University, where he earned a Bachelor Degree in Accounting. He earned his certificate to practice as a Certified Public Accountant. He used his incredible accounting skills at the Defense Contract Audit Agency for many years before becoming self-employed. He was a member of the Steward Board at Beebe Memorial Cathedral and was proud to serve the Lord and church.Victor was a season ticket holder and die-hard Raider fan. He loved to travel and enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He loved to barbeque and thought no one could do it better. Victor was a teacher to his nieces, nephews, and step-grandchildren, and encouraged all of them to excel. We have joy that Victor is now with the Lord. He fought a good fight and his race has now been won.Victor is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Geraldine Guidry-Brown; his mother who he adored, Velma Brown; three brothers, Darryl, Walter and George Brown; one sister, Vanessa Cooks and brother in-law, Peter Cooks; one nephew, Micheal Loller; three nieces, Jada, Jaimi and Tajah Cooks; two great-nieces, Anai and Demiyah Loller; one great-nephew, Micheal Loller II; two step-daughters, LoWanda Moore and LaShaun James; five step-grandchildren, Karlan Brooks, Lauryn Moore, Jovan Blacksher Jr., Ryan Moore and Jasai Blacksher; a host of in-laws, aunts, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, James Brown Jr. and his sister Rosalind Deneice Brown.
