Vera Jean Chappelle, at the age of 82 died in Orinda on November 7, 2016, whilst being cared for by her daughter Joy Truth McGowan. She was stricken with neuromyelitis optica in 2003 that eventually led to quadriplegia in 2015. Ve Read Obituary
Ms. Chappelle was a loving and wonderful teacher . she was caring and very patient. I used to spend many weekends at her house , I never had the opportunity to tell her thank you and how she inspired me in life. My deepest sympathy Jennifer Jones
