Tyler Ko's Obituary
TYLER LEWIS KO Tyler was born on July 2, 1991at Oakland Kaiser and he passed away peacefully on February 27, 2007. During his short 15 years with us, Tyler had a life filled with more love and more pain than most people would experience in their lifetimes. Tyler loved video games, junk food, football, watching TV, going to the movies and taking family trips, but he loved his bulldog, Whopper (and all of other his dogs) most of all. Even though Tyler was very quiet, Family and Friends were so very important to him. He loved being at school and around his friends and he loved being a part of the football team at Skyline High School. He was so proud when he wore his Titan Football jersey #84 as an “Assistant” Coach. Tyler had a disease almost all of his life that caused him constant pain and regular medical attention, but he knew that he was loved by so many at Kaiser Oakland. They had definitely become an extension of our family. Tyler was a fabulous caring, loving Son with a quiet sense of humor. He always endured so much but never complained. He was the strongest, most courageous person that anyone knew, and he was so cute. Tyler was the best brother anyone could ever hope for. He was an inspiration, and a blessing to all who knew him. He was loved greatly and will be missed greatly. Tyler is survived by his Parents Kenneth Ko, June Ko-Dial and Barry Dial, his Brothers Brandon and Stephen, his Sister Kristen, many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and many, many other family members. Please join us on Sunday, March 4th, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chimes Chapel at the Chapel of the Chimes on Piedmont Avenue in Oakland, California for a service to remember and celebrate Tyler.
