Tri-Nu L. Little's Obituary
Tri-Nu Little was born on September 5, 1978, to Theresa Johnson and James Little. She was raised in East Oakland where she spent her early years with her parents and sister, Tecretia. Before Tecretia was born, Tri-Nu was the baby of the family. While East Oakland was home, she also spent many of her early childhood days at her maternal Grandparents' home in North Oakland, a place filled with cousins, laughter, and deep family roots that remain to this day.
Surrounded by cousins who adored her, Tri-Nu was deeply loved from the very beginning. One of the family's most cherished memories from her early years is of her little red boots, a special gift from her grandfather. Those boots were hers, and no one else was allowed to touch them. Even as a toddles, she had a persence- confident, expressive, and full of personality. She was the favorite, and she wore it well.
Following the passing of her mother, the family relocated to Alameda, where Tri-Nu attended Encinal High School and continued her education with the Alameda community.
in 1999, Tri-Nu's life was forever changed with the birth of her beloved daughter, Kei-Nu. becoming a mother was her greatest joy, and she devoted herself wholeheartedly to raising her daughter with unwavering love, care, and dedication. She took immense pride in being a full-time mother and worked tirelessly to ensure her daughter was supported, nurtured, and encouraged to become her best self.
During her adult years, Tri-Nu pursued higher education and built a career in the medical field, working for several years in the medical billing and administrative services. She approached her work with diligence and compassion, always taking pride in helping others through her role.
Following in her father's footsteps as an entrepreneur, Tri-Nu laterpursued business ownsership and, around 2020, founded a residential cleaning business. Sprkling Nu. She took pride in her work and built a steady base of loyal clients, providing dependable and personalized service. Her daughter occasionally assisted her, making it a shared family effort rooted in love and perseverance.
In 2022, Tri-Nu expierenced another profound joy when she became a grandmother. The arrival of her granddaughter, Gianna Este, filled her heart with renewed purpose and excitement. Gianna affectionately called her "Nana," and Tri-Nu cherished that bond deeply. She embraced her role with the same fierce love, devotion, and pride that she has shown as a mother, pouring her heart into every moment spent with her granddaughter.
Tri-Nu deeply valued family and was a sonstant presence at the family gatherings, celebrations, church functions, reunions, birthdays, and milestones. No matter the occasion, she showed up cheering, supporting, and loving her family fiercely. Her warmth, ;loyalty, and unwavering presence will be remembered by all who knew her.
Tri-Nu passed away January 21, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughter; Kei-Nu Hewitt, her granddaughter;Gianna Este, her sisters;Tecretia Little, ShaCarla Little, her brothers; Darryl Little Sr., Anthony Little Sr., and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins, and extended family.
She is preceded in death by her parents; James Little , Theresa Johnson and her grandparents.
