The tears are streaming down my face as I write this post. My sweet friend T, who I met when I was stationed at McClelland Air Force Base, in Sacramento, CA in 1993 prior to the base closing. I lived on Twin Trails Drive and she and her two daughters lived near. We became very close and shared so many fun times together with our families; BBQ’s at my house, our kids sleep overs, PTA meetings, going to the gym, going to the NCO Club and she was ALWAYS late for church because she had to change outfits at least 3 or 4 times. I even had the pleasure of meeting her parents in Hayward before her dad retired from the Post Office on a Sunday and we all went to church together. I’m so glad that I was able to visit with her when she moved to Las Vegas. Wow…the memories that we shared. I’m grateful to have had her in my life because she was an amazing woman and was loved and admired by many. I’m going to miss you my dear friend and I love you!
