Timothy Daniel Connors' Obituary
Timothy Daniel Connors passed away on August 10, 2020. He was 80 years of age. Tim resided in Oakland, California. After a brief battle with cancer, he passed away peacefully in his home, with his family by his side.
Tim was born and raised in a large family in Seattle, Washington, before enlisting and proudly serving in the United States Marine Corps. After the Marines, Tim found the love of his life, Rita, with who he would have 4 children: Kelly, Dan, Mike and Joe. Tim and Rita celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary this year. Tim spent his working years in a career in the fire sprinkler industry. He enjoyed spending time with family, friends and neighbors. In retirement, he was sought after by many for handyman projects, which he took great pride and enjoyment in. At age 54, Tim ran his first of 14 marathons, including the 100th Annual Boston Marathon. Tim loved life and spread joy to those around him.
In addition to his wife and kids, Tim is survived by: son in law Peter Imburg; daughters in law LeaAnn, Kim and Amanda; grandchildren Ashley, Tyler, Garrett, Wyatt, Monte, Maile and Tanner; sisters Maureen and Michaela, brothers Larry and Kevin; as well as loving extended family and his best friend from his service in the Marines, Dennis O’Sullivan. He was preceded in death by his brother Jim Connors, sister Theresa Kernwein and sister Cecilia Moskal. Memorial contributions preferred to the Semper Fi Fund (https://semperfifund.org/donate/).
