Tiffany Ketrell Purvis' Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Tiffany Purvis on January 23, 2025, at the age of 50. Tiffany was born on June 8, 1974, in Brooklyn, New York, and her life was a beautiful reflection of love, passion, and creativity. She peacefully left this world surrounded by the warmth and love of her family, leaving behind an enduring legacy of kindness, joy, and beauty.
Tiffany’s spirit shined brightly in everything she did. A gifted cosmetologist and hairdresser for nearly 30 years, she had an innate ability to make those around her feel truly seen and cherished. Her career was not just a job—it was her calling. With every client, she infused her passion for glamour and transformation, leaving each person she touched feeling more confident and radiant. Her lighthearted nature, boundless creativity, and love for beauty were her trademarks. Tiffany’s heart was as beautiful as the work she did, and she will be remembered for her warm smile, her generosity, and the love she so freely gave to her friends, family, and clients.
Tiffany was preceded in death by her beloved grandmother, Earnestine Ware, and her uncle, Walter Ware. She is survived by her devoted mother, Judie Ware, and her loving sister, Evonne Purvis, Kossandra Hampton, Denicia Hampton and Elizabeth Purvis, Her Brother Jerome Hampton, her nieces Tymesha and Aleah Bovell and her Nephews Sean and Jerrell Bovell, her Aunt Carol Ware, her cousins Kimble and Daryle Ware; along with a host of family and friends whose lives she touched.
