Ms. Rita Theodora Yearwood's Obituary
On February 11th, 1919, Ms. Rita Theodora Yearwood was born. She emigrated to San Francisco, California from Trinidad in 1966. She worked as a Nurse’s Aide at San Francisco General Hospital. Rita loved to sew, work, dance, sing, ride the muni, walk and shop the length of mission street in San Francisco and also enjoyed going to church.
She devoted to her life to her children, family, and friends. She is the last survivor of her siblings: Sisters: Sheila Perry & Phyllis Maynard. Brothers: Kenneth Yearwood & Martin Yearwood. Ms. Yearwood is survived by her daughters: Heather Hawkins, Desiree Valverde & Dayna Yearwood.She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. On Friday morning, October 16th, 2015, Ms. Rita Theodora Yearwood entered into eternal rest.

television, typewriters & computers
World War 1 & World War 2
long skirts, miniskirts, and hot pants for women
Dreadlocks, straightened hair, jerry curl and back to dreadlocks and much much more…..
She will be greatly missed.
