Terri Elaine Rhone unexpectedly passed Saturday morning, August 31. She was 50 years old.Terri was born September 19, 1962 to Joyce and John Rhone. She graduated from Bishop O’Dowd High School in Oakland, California and attended Southern University in Louisiana before coming back to California and beginning her career as as a Medical Records Technician, which she performed for over 15 years, most recently with Kaiser Hospital and as an accredited member of AAPC.Terri enjoyed playing the flute, attending concerts, shopping and traveling. Terri is survived by her father, John E. Rhone, Sr of Texarkana, Texas; sister Joi Rhone of Sacramento, CA; brothers Steven Rhone (Kathy) of Goodyear, AZ and John Rhone Jr (Jackie) of Newport Beach, CA; niece Michaela Rhone of Sacramento, CA, nephew Kenzo Rhone of Northridge, CA and longtime companion Paul Smith of Campbell, CA. She also leaves missing her dearly an uncle, a host of aunts, cousins and friends and her beloved dog, Gary. Terri is preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Rhone and brother Michael Rhone. Services for Terri will be as follows: Viewing at 9am and Homegoing Celebration of Life at 11am at the Chapel of the Chimes , 4499 Piedmont Avenue, Oakland, CA on Friday, September 6th. Internment will be immediately following at Evergreen Cemetery in Oakland, CA.
